Colours are about much more than how they look. They affect our nervous system. Geri’s colour consultations aim to guide you through the ocean of choices to create interiors that respond to your sensibility.
Every colour has a different ‘personality’ and sends a different message. And each person sees and feels about a certain colour differently. This is mostly because of our temperaments and our cultural backgrounds. Our life experiences, starting in childhood, also form our inclinations to specific colours.
Examples of colour choices
When consulting and designing, Geri focuses on creating cosy and inviting environment where colour is often the background that sets the tone and the mood.

After using the products herself and also working with painters, Geri consults on the following paint brands – Dulux (and their sub brand Porter’s Paints), Wattyl and Annie Sloan Wall paint. Each is chosen for their specific properties, available colours and desired effects. If you have a preferred brand, please let her know before the consultation.
How our Colour Consultations work
For the In-Home Colour Consultations, Geri will visit your home and discuss with you your ideas, preferences and practical needs in terms of paint colours. She will also take into account the colour personality of each of your family members, as well as existing furniture and furnishings in your home.
On the basis of that discussion and Geri’s knowledge of colours, she will create a paint colour scheme that you can use to start painting your interiors or exteriors.
